Puzzle of the Dead: Riddles in the cemeteries – the review of AppsQueen

Imagine being a kid extraordinarily unlucky and you want to impress the beautiful country. You have no chance, none at all, because you’re sad and gloomy little guys: how? Simple: from the local witch helps you to collect the souls of the dead to make a love potion. Or at least this is the solution that sudden Pip, the protagonist of the Puzzle of the Dead: Is this not the first solution that comes to mind, but also the rest of this puzzle is quite outside the box, and offers several delicious headaches, as well as setting a bit ‘unusual.

Ah, blessed youth: who has spent his adolescence traveling around cemeteries and tombstones, searching for the souls of the dead? Pip is a sad little chap who seems made to wander the Campo Santo, and is also very unlucky, because he only touched cemeteries haunted by the worst things: vampires, ghosts, zombies, laser-eyed statues and so on and on and so us.

The player must try to keep it alive, and let him collect the scattered Anime level: to do that Pip must avoid obstacles, move blocks, to create bridges over water courses and try to build safe routes. Once you’ve gathered all the souls in the diagram appears a key, which is in turn collected before winning the release.

Puzzle of the Dead is a classic puzzle, which means you need to check the view from the character of Pip in the schema. Need to drag your finger to move it in the appropriate direction, and if it is true that this system is not really fast, still allows a degree of accuracy needed for a game of this type. Apart from this minor flaw, the gameplay is definitely at a good level: the levels are unlocked in a linear fashion, one at a time, and the difficulty progression is gradual, and never boring. Certain levels will end up on the first try, while others take several attempts, but it is difficult to be totally blocked. Continuing in the game are also added new enemies, new mechanics and new difficulties, which keep the player constantly involved.

Also with regard to the graphics Puzzle of the Dead has nothing to envy to other titles: old school is a very interesting puzzle. His aesthetic is a blast from the past, pizellosa and retro, very well done. Combined with some gameplay reminds, at times, the sequences of the first puzzle Zelda: and great memories. The music, gloomy weather and are very well done.

Ultimately Puzzle of the Dead is a classic game in its approach, and its graphics, but very enjoyable. If you love the puzzles in Sokoban style but want something a little ‘different than usual and with an old school look, you found the game for you!

Bouncer Boot Out is the typical game that capitalizes on a simple concept with a very unusual presentation.
Unwilling to find a genre you could say that “technically” it is a castle defense: there’s the enemies and you should throw them off the screen to defend the walls of the building. But here the “enemies” are neither knights in armor, or zombies, or cuddly animals, and ilpalazzo is not exactly a castle because if the technical definition is that of castle-defense, in essence Bouncer is a “simulator bouncer “. So you have to defend your good is Clubbin those dandy-chic, and the enemies who attacked him are unlikely horde of people who could describe a thousand words, but just to sum it wonderfully: bad luck.

In short, a good variety, but let’s face it: if it were only that Bouncer Boot Out would not be worth the money even coffee. The wax makes all the difference in the characters. The graphical presentation is something really exhilarating. The nerds are a sampling of completeness and accuracy that are the envy of the art at the museum, ranging from the typical emo full of piercings, the desperate housewife, through the great-grandmother, the exhibitionist (naked, but censored), the transvestite , the fat, sloppy with the rotten teeth, the appliance brufolona with the teeth, the tramp, the loser in canottierona … And the customers are considered to be healthy all the crazy taken for a ride, ranging from flu-like Paris Hilton, the cumenda with cigar, affected by the bullfighter all’afroamericano with shutter glasses. And dwarves jeweled, fake blondes with Botox, vintage men metrosexual: a delirious and hilarious personal gallery of caricatures, which are what makes this game different from all the other stupid.
Of course this is not enough to give Bouncer Boot Out Who knows what level of depth not deny it, this game is as deep as a puddle is a puddle … but at least enjoyable, varied and full of people to laugh at. It has colorful graphics and well done, the nice little piece of music, the precise controls and a whole lot ‘of different environments. And for the price of coffee, I would say that does his duty, with no major faults, and with great virtue.
