Cyan Worlds has released its latest game for iPhone and iPod Touch: Riven, an adventure game originally launched in 1997. Sequel to the popular Myst, players will be engaged in the exploration of the Age of Riven solving puzzles in order to free Atrus’s wife Catherine. The game contains all the images, videos and animations of the original game.

Although it has been scaled to the size of IOS, the game is one of the largest available in the entire App Store with a size of no less than 1.01 GB. Cyan points out that the game also needs to 2GB of additional space during the installation process, and that the timing of synchronization may be extremely long, with long pauses potentially up to 10-15 minutes (for older devices). Users are advised to download the game directly from your mobile device, because it is suggested to buy it through iTunes and then transfer it.

Compared to the original game, the improvements include the presence of more tips, compatibility with Game Center and of course the multi-touch controls for zooming and navigation scenarios. Multitasking is supported in iOS 4 and players can opt for an auto-save or manually save your progress.
